im glad it was fixed, but its too late now that i stopped using the script due to some major bugs, im not sure if i should start again, btw, when will you be releasing the update of your mods and template for the new version of the script?

Anyway to easily change from the original script to your unofficial one? I got a lot of members and stuff I don’t wanna lose.

No SQL was changed. So in theory you can just upload and replace the old files.

If you use a custom template there will be some problems:
All the css classes were changed to id’s to prevent repeated usage.
Most styling information removed from function files.
etc.

It usually doesn’t take long to make a custom template fit this version of the script. All the changes are small just to make the whole arcade script w3c compliant.

define('AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL', 600);

And

define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', false);

Are the same, but the top version will also disable the Autosave feature too.

I found the Autosave to be more annoying than useful. I tend to edit posts many times to get the required page layout, so I did not to use it very much.

I will totally redo this soon because it’s coded badly. I essentially just copy / pasted the original code and modified to break the loops…. I never really expected so many people to use it

I will make the SEO call once to save SQL queries and increase performance on high traffic sites.
Expect an update in about a week.

It won’t hurt. The main reason WordPress is slow, is due to the way it caches files.

A Wordpress plugin like WP Super Cache should help bring the PHP page generation time down a lot
